A product can be classified in different trees and several categories.

To classify an existing product :

1. Locate the product you want to classify
2. Click ‘Categories’ tab for the product

On the left panel, there is the list of trees available in Akeneo. When the tick is green, the product is classified in one or more categories in the tree. If the tick is grey, the product is not classified in the tree.
On the right-hand of the name of trees, there is the number of categories where the product is classified. For example, in the screenshot above, the product is classified in 3 categories of Master Catalog, and 1 category in the Europes Sales Catalog.

1. Click on the label of the tree where you want to classify the product. Categories appear on the right panel.
   Categories where the product is already classified are checked. The tree is expanded in order to view all categories where the product is already classified.
2. Check categories where you want to classify the product, or uncheck categories to unclassify the product.
3. Click Save button.
