Outlook Proxy Settings

If Outlook is failing to connect from outside Picnic Time's network, the follow settings may need to be applied:

  1. Make sure Outlook is closed
  2. Open Control Panel: Right-click on the Start button (Windows logo button at the bottom-left corner of the desktop) and then click Control Panel
  3. Change View by: to Large icons (at the top-right corner of the window)
  4. Click Mail
  5. Click Email Accounts…
  6. Select your email account and click Repair…
  7. Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types
  8. Click Next
  9. Click More Settings…
  10. Click Connection
  11. Click Exchange Proxy Settings…
  12. Under Connection Settings change the first field to mail.picnictime.com and uncheck the box labeled Only connect to proxy servers that have this principal name in their certificate
  13. Click OK
  14. Click OK
  15. Click Next >
