    * finds items that contain the exact phrase social security
  * OR e.g., social OR security
    * finds items that contain social or security
  * NOT e.g., social NOT security
    * finds items that contain social, but not security
  * ! e.g., !Smith
    * finds all values except "Smith"
  * .. e.g., 1..10
    * finds all values from 1 through 10
